 The Oil Patch Preparation
System is an 8-day training and job placement program, funded by the federal Workforce Investment Act, that can help those with no
experience get their foot in the door or help the most seasoned hand find a better path for career advancement.
The certifications offered through the program are OSHA and MMS mandated and operator required.

JOB SEEKERS:
PEC/Premier Safety Management is approved to receive funding in the States of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and
Texas to provide training to individuals in order to supply quality employees to the oil and gas industry.
Once approved for training, you will spend 8 days aboard the historic
Mr. Charlie Drilling Rig in Morgan City, Louisiana and will
receive the latest in regulatory compliance and hands-on skills training. While aboard, you will enjoy meals
and full catering services provided by Sodexo, the largest
offshore catering company in the world. *Texas OPPS takes place at Texas State Technical
College-Harlingen Campus.

JOB PLACEMENT:
Each graduate of OPPS will receive a graduation packet

this page, as well as assistance in setting up job interviews with companies that are actively hiring.
